Lion’s mane is an edible mushroom, that belongs to the Hericiaceae family. It’s extensively found in East Asian countries including Japan and China. The mature mushroom is easily identifiable, consisting of a number of single, long, dangling fleshy spines which are white in color. Lion’s Mane has traditionally been used as a herbal medicine in East Asian countries with well documented health-promoting effects
